Hi, I'm Katie. Nice to meet you.
I'm a consultant to creatives, which means I'm part strategist, part analyst, part teacher, part coach, and (real talk) part therapist. I'm the business partner you've always wanted to help you take your business to the next level.
What energizes me is working with you. I love working on the issues that hold you back so that you can do work that really matters. I love helping you clarify your vision and discover what you really want from your business. I love seeing you set goals and crush them. I love transforming your day-to-day, watching you go from anxious to confident, frazzled to clear and focused, burnt-out to energized, scraping-by to thriving.

How I got here (the long version)
After getting her degree in Finance and Business Honors from the University of Texas, Katie went to work for SAIC Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure (later called Leidos), where she was a financial and strategy consultant. Her clients included most of Texas's largest cities, including Dallas, Fort Worth, El Paso, San Antonio, and her adopted home of Austin.
Katie's systematic approach, critical insights, rigorous analysis, and clear communication earned her top-honors at the firm. She was formally recognized as a Rising Star in her first year and quickly became one of the company's youngest project managers.
In 2012, Katie decided to start her own consulting practice and began working with creative entrepreneurs. The energetic, passionate, and action-oriented approach of her clients was much different than anything she had experienced working with municipal governments, and she was hooked.
Katie specializes in working with creative entrepreneurs to take their businesses to the next level. Katie has a unique ability to work side-by-side with creatives as a partner and friend, helping to achieve real results while thriving creatively and personally.
While she still considers herself an Austinite, she and her husband Travis are now living as “Texpats" in Washington, D.C., with their two daughters. She is a mediocre CrossFitter who loves cooking and eating good food, wandering around bookstores, and treasure-hunting in a good thrift store.
